Privacy Policy
Polymath is an iOS application produced by Frankie Merzadyan, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your data when you use the app.
Summary
Polymath does not collect personal data. It does not run analytics. It does not integrate third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Everything you create in the app, your cards, your decks, your review history, stays on your device or in your own iCloud account.
What stays on your device
Your library of cards, your review schedule, your scheduling parameters, and every dictionary or morphology lookup you perform in the app are stored locally. The morphology databases used by the Russian, Spanish, and Japanese plugins are shipped inside the app bundle and consulted on device, without a server round trip.
iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your library is synchronised between your own Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. The developer of Polymath cannot read the contents of your private iCloud database. The processing is governed by Apple's own privacy terms.
Purchases
Language plugin subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Polymath does not see, store, or transmit your payment details. Apple may notify the app's backend of subscription lifecycle events (renewals, refunds, cancellations) via the App Store Server Notifications service; these notifications contain a transaction identifier and a product identifier, and are used only to maintain an accurate record of entitlement. They are not associated with any personally identifying information by this service.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter shipping data off device without consent, no telemetry pixels. If crash reporting is enabled in a future release it will be opt-in, documented, and aggregated only.
Third parties
Polymath does not share data with third parties. The app makes no outbound network calls other than to Apple's own services (StoreKit, iCloud, App Store Connect) and, where explicitly invoked by you, to fetch optional dictionary updates.
Children
Polymath is rated 4+ and contains no user-generated content streams, no chat, no advertising, and no uncontrolled web views. It does not knowingly collect data from children or adults.
Your rights
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have rights of access, rectification, and erasure in respect of personal data held about you. Because Polymath does not hold personal data on a server, these rights are, in practice, exercised by you directly on your device: uninstalling the app removes all local data; disabling iCloud sync and deleting the app's iCloud container removes synced data.

Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in an updated date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, a notice within the app. The canonical version of this policy is published at polymath.mindhuntr.ai/privacy.
